Brands partner with TerraCycle to create recycling programs for their products and packaging. Through a new product—TerraCycle On-Demand—the company sought to offer a budget-friendly, do-it-yourself recycling program to small and medium businesses.
But recycling can be confusing, and this was an unprecedented product. The team needed to build a user experience that would keep customers confident throughout the program creation process.
I worked closely with the UX design team, graphic designers, innovation division, and company leadership throughout the process.
TerraCycle On-Demand launched to great success, converting nearly 100% of existing small-program customers.
